Air quality monitoring stations (AQMS)

Poor air quality in cities has been around for so long, we go about our lives thinking it’s normal. A chemical cocktail of pollutants in the air is an invisible threat that can make anyone seriously ill over time. We especially need to look after the young, the old and the vulnerable right now.

AQMSGROUP provides comprehensive solutions for air quality monitoring with fixed and mobile Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS). Their systems continuously measure multiple pollutants, including gases (SO₂, NOx, CO, O₃, VOCs), particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), weather parameters, and wind speed/direction. With global operations and hundreds of real-time monitoring sites.

VOTED ‘THE MOST ACCURATE AIR QUALITY SENSOR IN THE WORLD’ AT THE PRESTIGIOUS CHALLENGE AIRLAB MICROCAPTEURS 2023

Bettair® static nodes are a novel device that permits, for the first time, the mapping of air pollution with high accuracy and in high resolution at a previously unimaginable scale. The bettair® network provides invaluable insights about how to mitigate air pollution.

Bettair® static nodes can measure up to 12 air quality indicators as well as ambient noise level and other environmental parameters.

With default configuration, the bettair® static node can measure the most common gaseous pollutants: nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitrogen monoxide (NO), ozone (O3) and carbon monoxide (CO). In addition, the nodes also measures particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10) in the ambient air.

Mapping Air Quality

The bettair® static nodes measure several air quality indicators including NO2, NO, CO, O3, SO2, H2S, CO2, PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0 as well as ambient noise level and other environmental parameters:

NO2 NO SO2 CO O3 H2S CO2
PM1 PM2.5 PM10
Ambient Noise
Temperature
Relative Humidity
Atmospheric Pressure

The accuracy of the measurements provided by the bettair® static node is based on advanced proprietary algorithms that enable parts per billion (ppb) measurements with similar accuracy than traditional air quality monitoring stations but at a fraction of the price. The algorithms compensate for the impact of the different ambient conditions as well as sensor degradation due to aging. This removes the need for costly gas sampling and maintenance equipment.
