The AQMS FTIR is capable of measuring a broad spectrum of gases, including H2O (water vapor), CO2, CO, NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, NH3, CH4, HCl, HF, and various Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). It offers the flexibility to expand its capabilities by adding more gases without the need for hardware modifications, with the system typically able to measure up to 50 different gases.

The SICK FID VOC (volatile organic carbon) Or also known as a TOC, is designed especially for mobile use at various sites and operating conditions both for continuous and short monitoring. This heated FID unit is suitable for areas with difficult access and ensures reliable monitoring with laboratory quality results under harsh process conditions. It features a patented minature heated sensor block with a FID controlled up to 240°, making it possible to measure steam saturated gases. In addition, the Bernath 3006 is the only portable FID which has been awarded MCERTS certification.
The measurement of ions per unit time makes this a mass sensitive instrument.
