Fixed Gas Detectors

Are you looking for reliable and efficient fixed gas detectors? Discover our detection devices especially designed for professionals in the industry and in the service sector.

Why use a fixed gas detector?

Fixed detectors are used to detect an abnormal or dangerous presence of gas in a specific area and to warn the user in the event of potential hazards. Equipped with sensors (called cells), they can measure the concentration of one or more types of gas, depending on the model.

Unlike portable detectors, fixed detection devices make it possible to secure an entire area 24 hours a day. They can also be connected to a detection system, which displays the gas concentration in numerical value, and then triggers the servocontrols in the event of an abnormal value.

Thanks to GDA, Gas Detection Australia, we offer a range of gas detectors that meets your needs (detection of leaks of explosive, toxic, or asphyxiants gases, refrigerant fluids, etc.).

Would you like to know all the features of our fixed gas detectors? We have used the latest electrochemical technology for the detection of a large number of gases. Please note that there are a broad number of possible configurations available for each of our products, and that they can be configured to meet the needs of a number of industries and applications. If you ever have any questions as to whether our products can meet your specific needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Remember, we’re with you each step of the way

Fixed gas detection systems are usually permanently installed in industrial or commercial settings, where there is a risk of gas leaks or other hazardous gas emissions. Fixed gas detectors typically consist of a sensor or sensors that are connected to a control unit, which can trigger an alarm or take other actions such as triggering a ventilation system if gas levels are exceeded. Common gases that can be monitored using fixed gas detectors include carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), methane (CH4), oxygen (O2), ammonia (NH3), chlorine (Cl2) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2).

AQMS GROUP offers a range of fixed gas detectors for the detection of Toxic, Combustible gases as well as Oxygen Deficiency/Enrichment. Examples of appropriate actions are the activation of audible/visual alarms or ventilation/ extraction systems and shutting down of plant equipment. Not only supplies the permanent installed gas detection equipment, Arrange installation by suitable qualified trades people. After the installation we performs the commissioning of the fixed gas detectors and offer on-site scheduled calibration and service, as this ensures they are always in great working condition.

At the start of every project, our primary objective is to understand our client’s needs. We then recommend feasible, smart solutions that balance your compliance goals and project budget. Depending on your project scope, those solutions may range from site assessment, project management, and design and installation, through to maintenance, data acquisition, validation, and reporting. We follow the applicable Australian and USEPA Standards for siting and sampling methods of ambient air and meteorological monitoring parameters.
